Bringing Japan’s Shinkansen Technology to the World—
Playing a key role to the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project
In September 2021, our company was established as a company providing project support for the electrical systems crucial to the safe operation of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project, approximately 500km in length, as a partnership initiative between Japan and India.
Since then, our company has been fully committed to fulfilling
our social mission of contributing to the development of
bilateral relationship between Japan and India by playing
a part in this project, which can be described as a vital bridge
between the two nations.
We are also striving to play a role in spreading Japan’s Shinkansen technology worldwide.
Those working on the front lines locally are:
Engineers who have been active at JR East, which operates the Tohoku and Joetsu Shinkansen lines, and the Japan Railway Construction, Transport and Technology Agency (JRTT), which is advancing the construction of the Hokkaido Shinkansen and other lines, along with highly skilled locally Indian staff members.
While we take great pride in our strong management skills and
technical expertise in Shinkansen electrical systems, we believe
seamless communication among project members is even more
crucial.
Furthermore, close collaboration with a wide range of
stakeholders, including the Indian government officials and
construction partners, and project management progressing
through active information sharing are also important.
Despite significant hurdles such as differences in society, culture,
business practices, and legal systems, we will sincerely engage with each other while acknowledging our differences, deepen mutual understanding, and work together as one to smoothly advance the project.
We are committed to creating an environment where every member who strongly desires the success of this vital project can maximize their potential. By building the high-speed railway connecting Mumbai and Ahmedabad, we will help realize a future where Japan and India grow through mutually exchange and cooperation.
